Sam Klarenbeek

Currently a senior at Northwestern College, Sam will graduate in the spring of 2019 with a degree in physical education and a fitness management career concentration, and a minor in health.  A native of Hull, Sam attended Boyden-Hull High School and was actively involved in football, track and wrestling programs before graduating in 2014.  While at Northwestern, Sam has been involved in wrestling for 5 years as well as leadership roles at the Rowenhorst Student Center.  "After graduating high school, health and fitness has always been a passion of mine; while seeing the change in others makes me feel accomplished.  In the fall semester of 2018, I had the opportunity to do my internship at an area fitness center.  During my time there, I learned a lot and found that to be a great experience.  I have my coaching endorsement and am currently working on becoming a certified personal trainer.  I believe fitness is a life choice, that should be in everyone's daily life and I love to see the change of others."
